Passing loop or siding passing loops allow two trains to share one track.
Transport fever passing siding.
Terminals or those where trains have to reverse to go back b siding opportunities where you need the train to.
I already prepurchased transport fever and tried out train fever a bit but found the system with signals to be very confusing.
You ll see without signals the line will just go back and forth on a single track but with a signal at each end of the double track section the line will go up one side and down the other.
Signals in transport fever are path signals.
You would need passing loops at 1 3 and 2 3 along the route based on how quickly the train can get there.
All passing loops in tpf2 are dynamic so intended that the trains pass at line speed therefore each loop is effectively a small double track section so all trains should be signalled to go right or left into the loop.
All passing by segments should work like roads do.
By passing another signal leaving the station or diverting of to another path at switch.
Signals should be placed only in the direction of travel prior to the junctions on the double track portion of the line.
You need neither one way signals nor waypoints but you do need a signal at each end of your double track or passing siding.
Learn more about path reservation in the examples below.
Despite the passing siding they try to reserve the path to the next stop or signal on the way.
These trains can share a line or be on two separate lines.
Each track is one way only.
